EAST ANGLIAN CLASSIC

The RAYSPORT EAST ANGLIAN CLASSIC, based in Norwich on August 11/12th, was the first round of the championship to run following the six months lay-off due to the Foot & Mouth restrictions.   32 cars started the rally, which was won by the Imp of Jamie Turner and Graham Raeburn. Second were last year's winners John Parsons & Gavin Rogers in an Escort Mexico and in third place came Dick Appleton in his Mini Cooper S, navigated by Championship Coordinator Andy Gibson.  Adam Wiseberg & Peter Blackett were 4th overall and best placed of the 18 championship crews in the rally:
